Gina and Tony’s wedding film is here. I’m so excited to share this one with you. Please reach out to Gina, Tony or myself for the password.
Gina & Tony’s wedding day was awesome. Not only was it a great opportunity to work with my friend Amanda over at AMRBridal & Events, but it was a day filled with such meaningful, special moments and fun, amazing surprises including a flash mob. Oh man, this is a fun video to share with you. Gina and Tony hired me to do their wedding video fairly close to the wedding so I didn’t have a lot of time to get to know them before hand. My earliest interaction with Tony was an email that said:
“This is Tony. I just wanted to take this opportunity to make the introduction to you all so we can coordinate for a smooth surprise performance & flashmob w/ Ushers + some guests.”
WHAT?! This is going to be awesome. As a Birmingham, Alabama wedding videographer, content is king and having quality moments to capture make wedding videos SO enjoyable. I simply couldn’t wait to learn more about the surprise performance. But I’m also really bad at accidentally letting the news slip. So my immediate response was:
“Also, is this a surprise for Gina (so keep it secret) or is she in on the surprise?”
Had to cover my bases. Tony responded with “yes” it was a surprise for Gina. WHEW. “I know nothing, I know nothing” is what I repeated internally all day. “I know nothing.”
Tony and the Groomsmen spent the morning in the grooms room rehearsing. What a fun and committed group of groomsmen. “Hi, would you like to be in my wedding? …..and be part of a Flash Mob.” They rehearsed and rehearsed and rehearsed.
There was a moment later that afternoon when one of the bridesmaids slipped and said “Tony is in the grooms room having their secret meeting”. (I know nothing, I know nothing) Gina’s response was priceless because not only did it show that had no idea what it was, she didn’t even think there was a surprise. It was at that moment that this Sneak Peak below was born. It’s so cool when it comes together like this because I knew from that moment that the video had to look like this.
Without further adieu, I hope you love it.
